A three day international conference on e-Governance will be held on July 28, in New Delhi. The conference will focus on digital learning and is expected to have participation from 1,200 experts from across 40 countries.
The conference titled 'eIndia2008' is jointly being organised by the department of information technology, ministry of communication and information technology, ministry of human resource development, Centre for Science Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) and the Microsoft and United Nations ICT development programme.
The conference will have seven themes including e-governance, digital learning, telecentre forum, e-health, mobileServe, community radio and e-agriculture. There will also be an exhibition of ICT where IT companies including Globus, Infocom, educomp, Sun and Eductech will showcase their latest e-governance and digital learning technologies.
